The Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Web site is owned and operated by the Ministry herself. The Ministry respects the privacy of its users. This Privacy Statement describes what information the Ministry collects from the web site and how they uses it.

The Ministry does not collect personally identifiable information about you from the this web site. If you email our technical support department or otherwise voluntarily communicate with the webmaster, however, your email(s) and/or communications may be stored. When you provide us such information, it is used to respond and/or address your question or comment.

Cookies
The Ministry does not currently send or drop cookies on your computer. A cookie is a text file stored on your computer’s hard drive that identifies your computer as a unique user. Note that if there are multiple users of your computer, the cookie does not distinguish between users, it only identifies the computer.

Web Beacons
The Ministry Web site may contain electronic images (called a "single-pixel GIFs" or "web beacons") that help the Ministry to count the number of users who have viewed that page. The Ministry does not associate web beacons with cookies or any personally identifiable information. However, the Ministry may use the web beacons to compile aggregated statistics of the use of this web site.

IP Addresses

The Ministry may use your IP address to diagnose problems with the web site.

With Whom Does The Ministry Share Information
The Ministry may share aggregated information about our users, affiliates, and/or other third parties. For example we may share the aggregate number of users that used a particular search term or the number or percentage of clicks on search results. The Ministry does not, however, share personally identifiable information with third parties. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Ministry will release specific personal information about you if required to do so in order to comply with any valid legal process such as a search warrant, subpoena, statute, or court order.

The Ministry may change this Privacy Statement from time to time. Each time you use the Services you are subject to the current Privacy Statement. The most current Privacy Statement shall be posted on this web site.
Some information is automatically collected whenever anybody accesses Government internet sites. Additional information may be voluntarily supplied - eg through on-line forms and e-mail for specific service delivery purposes. The Government will only use such information collected for the purpose for which it was supplied and such information will not be disclosed to any third party unless required by law.
